Look what I got from Santa ...
Posted on Friday, December 11 @ 23:51:58 CET by Adam

Motorcycling ... I must have been a good boy! :-) One thing Santa must have absentmindedly forgotten about is how much I suck at parking, so this bulky pimp mobile is a challenging first car to navigate into tight Swiss parking lots, especially the underground garage space where my wittle polar bear will get to sleep every night. But hey, I've been overdue to learn this for a while now. I already nicked a fender on our second day together -- call it heavy handed customizing...At least now there is no doubt that she really is unique. But hey, when I got my bike I also went for a really big one right away, just because I loved the way she looked, so I had no illusions about forcing myself to be more reasonable this time around. In fact I still believe your first time is the best time, so it would be silly to hold back. I was going to get more of a sports car initially but this caddy irresistibly seduced me with its inner values. Plus with a brief but intense episode of muscle cramping in my side recently, I am definitely starting to fit in with the old geezers who usually buy these things.

So far I am super happy about it, it has more gadgets inside than I ever imagined these things could have ... and get this: it runs Windows! There is a HDD inside that sporadically comes on, churns, and goes off, just like a Wintel PC, even if you are not asking it to do anything. We started commuting to work together, given the crappy weather. This also means that I'll have to wait a while until I can take some pictures in the sun. For now, here are a few pix in the gray.
