Ski Weekend

My christmas present for my mom was that I'd take her skiing for a weekend. This endeavor got quite delayed as there was little snow in the mountains, global warming seems to have made sure of that.
We finally got to the point where we said "now or never", and with almost shameful loads of help from co-organizers and wintersportswomen Beatrix and Edith, the trip was realized.
We lodged in an outrageously inexpensive fully furnished chalet for two days and a night, making extensive use of its private sauna.
The weather was wonderful, and thanks to a snowfall saturday morning the slopes were excellent. I found that the motorcycling experience has contributed to my skiing provess a great deal, even though I have not had skis on for about two years prior.
Overall it was probably my most enjoyable ski weekend to date, and I had some nice ones.

The place was called "crap" which fortunately did not reflect the experience we had.
