Freestyle!

Thanks to my mate Big Ben I found out about this year's Freestyle fest in the nick of time. There was a huge crowd at this year's event, essentially a big skateboard halfpipe / snowboard jump / motocross jump competition, with contenders coming from all over the world.
Here are some impressions:
There was also a punk band -- not particularly good -- but the wild moshing that ensued was all the better. Didn't get a chance to do that for quite a while now.
The last picture shows a huge menacing creature that has set up camp on my leg during the evening hours. Feeling well protected by my biker gear I proceeded to utilize the surring insect to scare the beejesus out of everyone who didn't want to take a flyer for at least half an hour (I was helping Ben hand out some flyers for a party he is organizing), until I came across a girl who was not at all frightened by the little guy, and my own shameful reservations about creepy crawlers soon began to poke through...
Oh yeah I also made a bunch of videos, some of which came out ok. In the end I think google video is crap, youtube may go out of business soon, and asking people to install divx is annoying -- so I won't post any more vids for the time being. Unless there is some popular demand.
