Bike club meet

So last weekend I was cruising around up in Thurgau by myself, and I came across an oldtimer motorcycle club meet. These guys were riding machines from before my grandfather's time. Here are a bunch of photos.
One thing I found disappointing is that I expected these folks to be a more tight knit bunch, but really they hardly knew eachother. They arrived, parked the bikes, listened to some guy give a talk, had their lunch, and then rode off. There were pairs of riders who seem to have been friends, but there didn't seem to have been any more overarching sense of cameraderie. Maybe it was just this particular group, though. The Hell's angels who meet regularly at a club near my house seem to be a lot more social.
